Casserole/BBQ nights
Held once a month on the 4th Friday of the month, our community Casserole or BBQ Nights offer a lovely relaxing opportunity to get together for a meal.
For the cooler months, we meet at the hall at 7pm, with a main or dessert to share, along with your own drinks. In summer (Dec-Mar incl.), we change to having a BBQ at the Camp Kitchen where you bring your own meat and drinks, and either a salad or dessert to share. Also usually starting at 7 pm, but 6:30pm for the December Christmas get-together to suit our weekender and visiting families more.
For Casserole night please bring a gold coin to help with hall running costs, and it is great if you can let us know if you are coming so we know how many to set tables for. There is no cost for BBQ Night and no RSVP needed.
Like so much in Tolmie, our once-a-month get-togethers are full of chatter and conviviality whether 6 or 26 attend and they are a great way to meet your neighbours if you are new to town.
